Tie Your Shoes

The road stretched, long and black

so twisted, knots appeared in the tarmac

shoelace streets fold and bend 

aching to be untied

releasing the pent-up 

bent-up 

spent-up energy 

but I fear if we untied the roads, the world's shoes would fall off, right?
